the calm of the ipod
one screen, one job — and playlists that sort themselves: most played, recently added, artist by artist.
features
01
plays your local music files: mp3, flac, wav, m4a, aac, ogg
your music already exists — kleos music just plays it. the files stay on your device and are read straight from storage. no import step, no cloud copy, nothing uploaded. lossless flac and wav are read off the file, never re-encoded.
02
fetches lyrics in real time from online databases
while a song plays, kleos music looks up its lyrics and brings them in as the song unfolds. read along while you listen. if a song has no lyrics online, you simply hear the music.
03
automatic album art, artist info, and metadata enrichment
owning your files used to mean missing covers and half-empty tags. kleos music matches each album against online databases and completes the picture: artwork, artist info, release details. the library looks the way it sounds.
04
explicit content tags from online apis
a small courtesy that streaming made normal: knowing which version is about to play. kleos music marks explicit tracks clearly, straight from online content data, before you press play.
05
clean, distraction-free interface inspired by the classic ipod
one screen, one job, nothing asking for attention that belongs to the song. the classic ipod understood this. kleos music borrows that calm and carries it onto android.
06
smart playlists and library organization
playlists that build themselves from how you listen — most played, recently added, one artist at a time. browse by album, artist, or folder. the library stays organized without you doing the organizing.

the difference
streaming rents you back your own taste. kleos music hands it to you — and keeps it on your phone.
€0
the whole app
no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases. kleos music is free and stays free, because there is nothing to upsell and no one to report to.
0
accounts
there is no sign-in. no email, no profile, no listening history. the app has nothing of yours to lose, because it never asks for it.
100%
on your device
your files are read straight from storage and never uploaded. playback needs no connection — the internet only ever comes in to enrich, never to collect.
1
developer
kleos music is built by one independent developer in a small studio. no committee, no growth team, no roadmap designed to keep you subscribed.
