lightweight
small, and it stays small.
kleos music is under 10 mb because it leaves out everything a player does not need: no streaming engine, no ad code, no feed, no shop, no analytics.

under 10 mb, installed.
smaller than a single album cover in your library. it installs in seconds and takes up about as much room as a couple of photos.
what is not in it.
no ad sdk, no analytics, no streaming client, no social feed, no store. those are the parts that make a music player heavy, and kleos music does not carry them.
it does not grow with a catalogue.
an app that streams keeps a catalogue, a cache and a login on the device. kleos music keeps your files and the lyrics it has already looked up, and nothing else.
small is not a compromise.
the player still reads lossless files as they are, still shows lyrics that work offline and still has the folder view. fewer megabytes, not fewer features you asked for.

questions.
under 10 mb. it ships without a streaming engine, ad code, analytics or a store, so there is nothing to weigh it down.
