folders
folders, as you filed them.
kleos music plays by folder, not just by album tag. the way you organised your files is the way you browse them — even when the metadata never got filled in.
- browse by folder

the folder is the unit.
browse into a folder and play what is in it, in the order your files sit. mixtapes, bootlegs, half-labelled downloads — folders make sense even when tags do not.
your structure, respected.
kleos music does not reorganise your storage or rename anything. the tree you built stays exactly as you left it.
for libraries that never got tagged.
years of files with missing artists and blank albums are still playable, because playback does not depend on a tidy database.
search and playlists are still there.
the folder view is how you find things; the rest of the player — search that forgives typos, lyrics, playlists and the wheel — is unchanged.
